International Yoga Day
International Yoga Day was celebrated in the school premises on 21/06/2024. This year’s theme for the International Yoga Day was “Woman Empowerment” and it was carried under the able guidance of Ms. Kajol Luhar. A message was conveyed that yoga is essential for our physical & mental peace improvement. Students participated with great enthusiasm on this Yoga Day.

Talk - Good Touch & Bad Touch
A talk was organized on 22/06/2024 in the school auditorium for students of Std. III & IV, wherein they were guided about Good Touch and Bad Touch. They explained that a good touch feels caring like a pat on the head or back or a bear hug. In comparison, bad touch can hurt your body of feelings, like hitting, kicking or touching private parts. Students listened attentively to the whole talk as they were given elaborate examples by teachers. It was an engaging talk and everyone learnt the importance of Good touch and how to differentiate between Good Touch and Bad Touch.

Parent’s Orientation Session
Parent’s Orientation Session was organized on 24/06/2024 and 25/06/2024. Parents of Std. I was impeccably guided about the school Agenda which included Mission and Vision of the school, infrastructure and facilities, safety and security of students, distinctive features of school, points of school almanac, annual planner, co-curricular activities/ events, Evaluation system and Termination grounds. The Managing Trustee Sir Jiral Shah welcomed the parents and the principal of primary section Ms. Uma Vansadia addressed the parents and cleared all their doubts. This session was a path – finder for all the parents.

Talk - Harmful Effects Of Using Cell Phone
A talk was organized on 06/07/2024 for the students of Class I and II on the topic of the harmful effects of using cell phones. The session aimed to educate young students about the potential negative impacts of excessive cell phone use on their health and daily lives. The event was well-attended and received enthusiastically by the students. The students responded positively to the talk, showing a good understanding of the topics discussed. The session successfully raised awareness about the potential harms of excessive cell phone use and provided practical tips for healthier habits.

Student Union Election
Student Union Election was held in the school wherein selected students of class VIII had stood for the posts of School Captain, Head Boy, Head Girl, Science Leader as well as Sports Leader. These students had done their campaigning enthusiastically in all the classes so that other students could vote for them. On the day of election, every student of Std. V to VIII were given the benefit of voting through E-ballot box wherein they elected the students with their respective symbols. The election was held peacefully under the guidance of Managing Trustee Sir Jiral Shah and Principal of Primary Section Mam Uma Vansadia and lastly the votes were counted. The selected students’ names were announced & the whole school cheered up for them.

Investiture Ceremony

The investiture ceremony was organized on 19/07/2024 where the students of newly appointed school council were honored with sashes and badges by Managing Trustee Sir Jiral Shah, The Chief Guest of the occasion Mr. Nileshsinh Rathod (Ex-Mayor Of Vadodara) as well as our primary section’s principal Mam Uma Vansadia. The School Captain, Head Boy, Head Girl, Science Leader as well as the Sports Leader took an oath & promised to fulfill their duties & responsibilities towards school with full dedication & passion. The Chief Guest Sir gave an inspirational speech by urging all the children / students to work towards their goal to get success. The vibrant school – band also added to the beauty of the Investiture Ceremony.

Talk on Physical Fitness & Adolescence
Physical fitness plays a crucial role in the lives of adolescents as it has a significant impact on their overall health and well-being. Adolescence is a period of rapid growth and development, both physically and mentally, making it an opportune time for individuals to establish healthy habits that can last a lifetime. To get our children insightful information regarding this the talk was organized on 02/08/2024. Our P.T. Coach Kamlesh Parmar guided the boys and the lady teacher guided the girls.

Talk on Social Media is harmful for students
The talk show on the harmful effects of social media for Standard VI students focused on raising awareness about the potential risks of excessive use, such as cyberbullying, addiction, decreased attention span, and privacy issues. Janmashtami Celebration
The Janmashtami celebration for Standard V and VI was a vibrant event where students embraced traditional attire, with boys in dhotis and girls in lehengas, enhancing the festive mood. The performances beautifully depicted key moments from Lord Krishna's life, including a captivating skit on his mischievous childhood as "माखन चोर." The dance filled the stage with energy and devotion. The event was organized on 24/08/2024.

Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration
Ganesh Chaturthi is a significant Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha, the God of wisdom, prosperity, and good fortune. At Bright School, this celebration has been observed with great enthusiasm for the past seven years. This year, the theme was "Cheers to Champions," commemorating India's win in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Cultural performances were held to worship Lord Ganesha, blending religious devotion with national pride, creating a festive atmosphere that united students and staff in joy and celebration.

India is a land of many cultures, religions, regions, traditions and languages but one thing that remains common throughout the Indian soil is our national language – Hindi. To make our students aware about the importance of the country’s most widely spoken language, Hindi Recitation was held on 14/09/2023. To celebrate the same the students delivered different Poems, Speeches, Dohas, Shlokas and Prayers fearlessly.

Navratri Celebration
Bright School - GSEB Unit and Stepping Stones Play School (Harni) proudly hosted the "Navratri Vibes - 2024" Garba competition for students from Nursery to Standard 8, celebrating the auspicious occasion of Navratri. Students participated enthusiastically in traditional attire, showcasing their best Garba performances. Winners were selected by a panel of professional judges based on categories such as Best Performance and Best Costume, honoring the students' talent, energy, and expression. The event was graced by the presence of Nimeshbhai Shah (President), Jiral Shah (Director) along with heads of various sections, who encouraged the participants.
